BEMIDJI, MN – June 24, 2021 – The Hewitt Family Charitable Fund, a donor-advised fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, is offering a funding opportunity that will have lasting impact on the youth and families of the Park Rapids and Nevis areas.

This may include but should not be limited to support agencies working to remove barriers for children, youth, and families to achieve success. Successful projects could offer housing, educational support, transportation, adult mentorship, rental support, food support, foster family support, job coaching or other ideas that help youth and families close the opportunities gap.

 

Funding Available

Grants up to $25,000 will be considered. Grant pre-applications must be received through NMF’s website by July 15, 2021 to be considered, using the link below. Those invited to complete a full application will have a deadline of August 2, 2021 This is a competitive grant process based on the organization’s ability to meet community needs.

 

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be 501c3 nonprofits, tribal entities, or public agencies located in or serving our 12-county service area (Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Polk, Pennington, Red Lake, and Roseau counties). Nonprofits with 501c4 and 501c6 designation may apply.
