May 6, 2020 – BEMIDJI, MN The Bemidji Area Arts Endowment (BAAE), a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, is pleased to announce the 2020 grant and scholarship recipients. BAAE’s annual Grants and Scholarship program supports the mission of the BAAE, which is to “create a community in which the arts flourish and enhance lives.” Additional grants from Northwest Minnesota Foundation component funds also approved and noted below.
BAAE awarded a total of $14,055 to the following recipients:
• Bagley Area Arts Collaborative
• Bemidji Community Theater: Music Man Production
• Bemidji Community Theater: Education Access
• Bemidji Symphony: Love Stories
• Clear Waters Life Center: Outdoor Sculpture Workshop
• Headwaters Music & Arts: 1st City Singers
• Headwaters Music & Arts: Amy Bass Book Discussion
• Headwaters Music & Arts: Amy Bass Lecture
• Headwaters Music & Arts: Art Camp
• Headwaters Music & Arts: Music Camp
• Mask & Rose Theater: Sister Song
An additional $8,300 in NMF component fund grants was awarded to the following recipients:
• Fred Marshall Fund: Headwaters Music & Arts
• H.B. & Ina Roholt Family Fund for the Arts: Watermark Art Center
• Northstar Fund: Headwaters Music & Arts
• Richard & Pam Nelson Visual Art Fund: Boys & Girls Club National Fine Arts Program
• Sandy Kaul Fund for the Arts: Watermark Art Center Green Space
